There are many types of mold found in the home. These molds grow in damp, dark spaces such as poorly ventilated basements, crawlspaces, and even attics. One type of mold in particular, known by the name Stachybotrys, is particularly dangerous. It is closely associated with contact dermatitis, upper respiratory infections, fever, headaches and fatigue.

Radon is a radioactive gas that is considered to be the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer, only second to smoking. What is the risk of having Radon in your home? At a level of 4pCi/L, the radon you inhale is the same as smoking 8 cigarettes a day or having 200 chest X-rays per year. That is the level at which we are told is safe.
